Securitize previews the launch of a "full-chain" stock trading market in Q1 next year: putting the equity of real listed companies on the chain and participating in DeFi interactions
The asset tokenization platform Securitize announced that it will launch a product called "Stocks on Securitize" in the first quarter of 2026. Officials claim that this is the world's first fully compliant, real-listed company stock trading platform that operates on the entire chain. It aims to more closely integrate traditional financial markets with Web3 infrastructure, allowing investors to directly own and trade real public listed company equity through the blockchain.

"Stocks on Securitize" Features
According to the press release, the biggest highlight of this product is that it does not provide the "synthetic tokenized stocks" commonly seen in the market currently (which only track prices and provide investment opportunities rather than real ownership), but native tokenized real shares. These shares are issued directly on-chain by the issuing company and recorded on the official capital register (cap table). After purchasing, investors will enjoy full shareholder rights, including dividends and voting rights. Shares exist as tokens in self-hosted wallets and cannot be loaned or re-hyped without consent, and transfers are restricted to only between whitelisted wallets with KYC/AML verification.
In terms of trading experience, Securitize said that "Stocks on Securitize" is designed to be as simple as DeFi: investors only need to connect their wallets and complete one-time identity verification, and then they can use stablecoins for instant transactions. The tokenized shares will enter the wallet directly, without the need for traditional liquidation delays or intermediary reconciliation risks.
Furthermore, it also supports 24×7 trading - when the U.S. stock market opens, it abides by the SEC's National Best Bid and Bid (NBBO) rules to ensure that prices are consistent with the traditional market; when the market closes, it uses an automated market maker (AMM) mechanism to dynamically adjust prices based on on-chain demand, providing round-the-clock liquidity.
This platform is supported by Securitize’s SEC-registered broker-dealers and transfer agents, and the underlying architecture has been verified in late 2024 in cooperation with Exodus Movement Inc. (NYSE: EXOD), which was the first public company case to issue equity on the native chain.
Can participate in DeFi interaction
However, it is worth noting that only stocks with limited issuer participation are supported in the initial stage, but Securitize said that as more companies join, this real ownership model is expected to expand rapidly. At the same time, tokenized shares can interact securely with DeFi protocols (such as lending platforms), opening up new applications such as staking and automation, while maintaining strict compliance. Securitize emphasizes that this is not only a technological upgrade, but also a deep integration of traditional finance and blockchain, which will bring a more open, programmable and globally accessible stock market experience without sacrificing investor protection and market integrity.
